Magazine was designed to serve African Americans and improve their quality of life. Each
quarter it showcases various themes: men, business, health, women and home. The
writing is stylish, sassy and radiates the African-American voice. The articles cover social
issues, economic concerns, health topics and the arts which touch the soul and spirit of
the reader.

Barbara Busey, President of Presentation Dynamics
Barbara Busey, President of Presentation Dynamics presented the program "You
Never Get a Second Chance....The Keys to a Positive First Impression. She
explained that in as little as 8 to 30 seconds, people form fairly lasting
impressions about you-about your intelligence, success, competence,
confidence, and professionalism, etc. Once formed, they usually do not change
their minds about us. This very informative interactive session taught us the "do"
and "don'ts" of not only our visual and verbal presentation skills but how our
clothes, expressions, tone of voice and posture among other things play major
parts in how people perceive us.
